IPad Pro Fashion Illustration
(10 minute video lesson below)
okay, this title is a little misleading, because you can create an illustration like this on and iPad mini or other digital device, but I did in fact create THIS ON on my Ipad Pro with my Apple Pencil, so why not just call it that?
I’ve told my story many times,….
I’m a fashion illustrator and fashion design Assistant Professor at Parsons the New School for Design who REFUSED to “do digital”. Until I found myself creating their first online fashion design studio class. But even then, I taught analog art supplies in a digital learning environment.
When I started my own business and fashion school to teach in a way that was more empowering to women, I realized that my illustratoins looked “dark”. When I shared on social media, I just couldn’t photograph them in a way that was bright and clean in the flood of bright, clean images out there!
It was a question of photography. I really recommend to every student of mine to spend time (like in Freedom Fashion Program) working with watercolors and gouache before they get into digital freehand illustration like I do.
These are all iPad Pro Fashion Illustration using Tayasui Sketches App.
In today’s video,
I’ll speed up the video to 10 minutes for my 15 minute illustration of the Chanel Resort illustration at the left, then talk you through in the video lesson.
REMEMBER that whether you work digitally OR NOT, the demonstration will still teach you about fashion illustration, PERIOD!
also remember you can study digital fashion illustration apps with ME starting TODAY in ABOUT FACES online course, , or analog fashion design sketching and model drawing with me using paints and pencils in FREEDOM FASHION program (which I recommend as the essential foundation for becoming a digital fashion illustrator!)

Analog art supplies are so unpredictable.
They bleed, they smudge, they run… they blend, they crumble, they smear, they fade.
All of these aspects bring emotion and character to art and fashion illustration art.
ALL OF THESE ASPECTS ARE WHY I LOVE TAYASUI SKETCHES APP for fashion illustraton.
