Mapping out the fashion (or any other) face proportionally is  the biggest hump to get over.

Here are some non-verbal examples from my classroom that can help you simplify and map out the features on the face.

The eyes are halfway down the head.

NOT THE FACE< but the HEAD.

This is the most important clue to drawing the face accurately.

The eyes are so emotionally overwhelming that we always draw them as HUGE…

which Is really cute , isn’t it?
